This book doesn't have a deliberate message to convey. However, the inherent meanings of each image in this book either complement or contradict each other. The book narrates the 'relationship' between such images, and it would be a unique experience to discover unexpected meanings found in the coexistence of various images on a single page. Most of the pictures in the book are captured in the UK and other European countries. Unlike other typical photography books, which depict tourist attractions, this book portrays very ordinary scenes that are present around us but are also unique. As you browse through the pages, you will not be able to identify the exact location, nor will you see any recognizable landmarks. I hope this book helps you appreciate the preciousness of everyday life.

이 책은 일부러 어떤 것을 말하려 노력하지 않는다. 그러나 각각의 이미지가 가지고 있는 의미들은 서로 다른 이미지와 만나면서 조화를 이루기도, 때론 충돌하기도 한다. 이 책은 그런 다양한 이미지가 하나의 페이지 안에서 함께 공존할때 생기는 예상치 못한 ‘의미’와 ‘관계’에 대한 이야기이다. 책은 최대한 객관적 거리를 두는 대신 독자들에게 충분한 여백을 제공하며, 때문에 책속 사진들의 의미와 관계는 책을 보는 독자에 의해 다양하게 만들어 진다. 책에 사용된 사진들은 런던을 베이스로 다양한 유럽에서 찍은 사진들이지만 시중의 유럽의 풍경을 담은 사진책들과는 달리 이 책의 사진들은 어디서 찍었다라고 말을 하지 않으면 어디인지 알 수 없는 사소한 일상의 모습들이 담긴 사진집이다. 흔한 랜드마크나 관광명소는 찾아볼 수 없지만 자세히 들여다 보아야만 볼 수 있는 일상 속 보석같은 순간들이 책속에 담겨져 있다. 우리 주변에 그런 빛나는 순간들이 함께 공존하고 있음을 이 책을 통해 느낄 수 있길 바란다.
